1) Obesity 🍔
Carrying around extra pounds is not a direct cause of infertility itself. But obesity can affect hormone production and make it more difficult for a woman to get pregnant.
2) Being too thin 🥬
Underweight women often have irregular periods and produce low levels of the hormone estrogen.
3) Getting older 🕖
Egg quality declines with time. Women over 40 have a decreased ovarian reserve and egg quality, which often leads to difficulty conceiving. While women can carry a baby in advanced age, their ovaries have surpassed the point at which they produce high-quality, healthy eggs.
4) Your family history 🧬
Ask your mom how old she was when she went through menopause. If she started on the early side, then you probably will, too.
5) Household chemicals 🧴
Certain chemicals have been linked to fertility issues. Exposure to pollutants, pesticides, and industrial compounds can decrease a couple’s ability to have children by up to 29%, according to a 2013 study published in Environmental Health Perspectives.⤵️

...but it’s not a verdict! 💯
Fertility isn’t just a “woman’s problem” or an age issue. Lots of things can lead to infertility, and it can affect people of all sexes and ages.
There’s always a possibility, no matter how small it is. And as long as the possibility is still there, the hope is still there.
We’re privileged to be living in a time where science and technology can assist us in solving many problems.
🔅 Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)
🔅 In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)
🔅 Surrogacy
🔅 Egg or Sperm Donation
And it’s not the whole list of options!
Our main message is to spread awareness: INFERTILITY CAN BE TREATED.
The earlier people will accept this idea, the less time they will spend believing in global injustice. More of their precious time will remain for happiness and joy.
The best you can do for yourself and your future generations is to be open-minded. There is no absolute infertility 😉
